Allie Brooks

Alison "Allie" Brooks (age 15) is Tess Foster's best friend, a bright and popular cheerleader who loves makeup and fashion and is typical girly girl. She is a freshman at Westfield High School. She's a fixture at the Foster household, despite never quite understanding how Tess can survive life in a house full of boys. She loves zebra pattern and glitter and has a good sense of style.

Allie is portrayed by Madison Pettis.Allie is a girly girl who loves fashion. She is sweet and kind. Allie can be a little bit dramatic and self centered at times.

Allie is from a rich family, and is spoiled. She is from an extremely wealthy family as shown when the Foster family went camping.Allie and Tess are like sisters. Although they are different in many ways, they seem to know eachother very well, such as habits. Through-out the show there might be hints that they have know each other for a long time. They are almost polar opposites considering that Tess is a wrestler and tends to scare people, but Allie is the fashion girl who tends to be a lot calmer about situations. Even though they're complete opposites they will always be there for eachother.  Sam has deep feelings for Allie, but Allie doesn't seem to return any. (It is currently unknown if she has even the smallest crush on him, as she acts like she dislikes him.) Their behavior towards each other may be them hiding feelings. (Or at least Allie, as Sam has already admitted and hinted STRONG feelings for Allie.) (Ex-boyfriend) Bobby and Allie have dated in one episode, but broke up.Allie is heavily into fashion. She is often seen wearing zebra print and sequins along with bold hats and jewlery. Her style is feminine, bold and trendy. She is often seen wearing dresses, skirts and high heels. In Blah Blah Blah With Boys, she tells Tess how excited she is to buy a new wardrobe in Italy. She has also teases Tess about buying a patterend sweater she referred to as the "tragic result of shopping without her". 

Tess Foster

Tessa "Tess" Foster is the main protagonist and only daughter of Jack. She is the younger sister of Gabe, twin sister of Sam, and older sister of Spencer. She is also Allie's best friend. She is a freshman at Westfield High School. Tess is on the wrestling team and on bad terms with head cheerleader Kaylee. She is the only girl on the team, however, she is deemed the best. She has had two on-screen boyfriends, Adam and Bobby. Tess is portrayed by Torri Webster.

Tess is pleasant, kind, serious when needed and often more mature than her brothers. Although her and her brothers always get in arguements and things of that matter, they always make up at the end of each episode. She loves her brothers and they have a deep relationship. Tess is sometimes shown to be impatient but as the show progresses, she gets more patient and understanding over time. She is sometimes subject over-react, like in A Perfect Life with Boys where she invites Grandma to "teach her brothers manners" but later regrets the consequences.  She seems to wear very colourful clothing, sometimes a bit retro. She wears very bright tees and jumpers. Usually, her hair is down and wavy. She may seem like a tomboy, but she wears lots of rings and dresses girly. In Season 2 she dominantly has curly hair which makes her look and be more girly than tomboyish. Tess and Allie are best friends and have matching rainbow necklaces that they tap together and say "ding" as a sign of friendship. They fell out over Bobby who was originally dating Allie before falling for Tess. They have been in several big fights, but always make up. Allie is shown to think of herself above Tess in the hierarchy and would abandon her for a party if Tess isn't invited. Tess is willing to lie to Allie for her own happiness. They are complete opposites: Tess likes wrestling and the outdoors while Allie likes cheerleading and is much more pampered and spoiled than Tess. Even though Tess and Allie are complete opposites they are always best friends. Tess and Bobby were wrestling rivals and before their big match they bet on who would be the first to miss a ball in baseball. After a couple of hours, Bobby missed. However, they were both so exhausted that they had to forfeit the match the next day. He then began dating her best friend Allie. Bobby's friend to make Allie happy, but he fell for her. They began dating secretly behind Allie's back but she catches them kissing at the front door of Tess' house. After Allie accepts their relationship, they start doing everything together. Tess finds out that Bobby lied to her so he could go to the game with his cousin instead of watching it with her, and breaks up with him. Allie convinces her to forgive him but when she goes to find him, she sees him exchanging numbers with another girl and gets her revenge. Tess has a room with many orange and brown colours, her window seat has many stuffed animals and a book nook, with many Nora Roberts books. Her bed spread seems to have a boho styled quilt.
